Get the RegTech Edge

18 global RegTechs showcasing solutions across risk management, data analytics and financial crime. RegTech Edge is a series of five minute presentations, Q&A, demos and an industry panel of regulated entities across government, telecommunications and banking, providing advice in dealing with their often complex requirements.

This is an event that will showcase, provoke, inspire and show you how RegTech is done.

There's a focus, and there's investment

According to the newly published The Regulatory Technology Handbook, the transformational potential of RegTech has been confirmed in recent years with US$1.2 billion invested in startups (2017) and an expected additional spending of US$100 billion by 2020.

Did you also know that Australia currently enjoys 3rd spot in terms of saturation of global RegTech development, and that RegTech firms are expected to outnumber FinTechs within five years? Then it's no surprise that The RegTech Association has flourished. We’ve seen leading banks, finance companies and corporates join us to encourage progression of faster RegTech adoption, reducing the time to value.

However, there are challenges

There are still challenges for regulated industries. Understanding the breadth of what’s out there, aligning the problem statements against this array of options or working on ways of onboarding new and innovative companies. On top of that ensuring that whoever regulated industries talk to understands their complexities and the needs of their organisation.

So how do you get the edge?

RegTech Edge addresses these challenges and provides a unique platform for stakeholders across the ecosystem to collaborate to accelerate the adoption of RegTech, ultimately reducing the time to value. Hear from industry on their expectations of RegTech both now and in the future and the opportunities for the RegTech ecosystem as a whole.
