Delivering Entrepreneurship Intensives to High School Students: Pitfalls & Successes

PART OF SPARK FEST 2021 - FIND MY SPARK

Are you looking at introducing or improving your entrepreneurship delivery within your school?

Join Tech School experts as we discuss what we have learnt delivering entrepreneurship intensives (2-day sprints) to high school students throughout Victoria.

Banyule-Nillumbik and Whittlesea Tech Schools have been delivering an entrepreneurship program to Victorian Government schools for FREE over 2-day intensives to give students key entrepreneurial skills. Our Introduction to Entrepreneurship program has been targeted to students who are embarking on their entrepreneurship journey. We take them from ideation, value proposition, solution design and pitching ie the complete cycle to test a business idea.

In a 1 hour session we will cover:

  • What is the difference between Entrepreneurship and Enterprise thinking
  • What we learnt and how we iterated the program using student and teacher feedback
  • The tools we've used to deliver our intensives: online, offline and hybrid.
