Calling all event hosts f​or 2024

Spark Festival 2024 is running from 2-6 September. We are looking for hosts to ​run events for innovators, founders, those who are curious and those who are ​ready to learn.

We’ll help you with the tools and support to host and run your event (as much as ​you need us to), and you can promote your offering via our Spark channels. Be ​part of an awesome community of like-minded event hosts and grow your brand, ​organisation, company or community with Spark Festival!

Who we are

What began in 2016 as the Sydney Startup Festival has become a community of ​startup founders, entrepreneurs and innovators at all stages of their journeys, ​passionate about sparking engagement into and across the ecosystem. We now ​call it Spark Festival and it’s Australia’s largest entrepreneurial community.

Spark is a Not For Profit, grassroots festival and community. We are made up of ​startups, investors, SMEs, government, corporates and innovators from across ​NSW and beyond.

Spark Festival is the place to get inspired, make connections, make impact, and ​learn the tools and techniques of the new economy.

Events occur in NSW including Sydney Metro and Regional NSW.

Spark has also taken place in other Australian states in the past. You can join ​many of our events online.

Wait... it’s free?

Spark Festival events are mostly free to attend (the community try their best to ​keep it that way) so that anyone, regardless of means, has access to inspiration ​and a network of supportive like-minds. Join whatever suits you, whenever you ​like.

We showcase different funding pathways, with opportunities to find information ​relevant for Australian companies raising from local and international sources, as ​well as impact investment.
