Or something more Blade Runner-esque, even dystopic?
Whatever it is, the ideas and technology that will shape our reality in 2050 are already emerging in 2019. It's just that many of them are hidden away in labs and innovation hubs, and some of them are "just ideas" in some of the bright young minds who will be tomorrow's innovators.
2050 EMERGENT is a one of a kind opportunity to learn more about these emerging ideas and technologies, connect with their creators and have your say in the Sydney you'd like to see in 2050.

Run by a team of four creative intelligence practitioners in partnership with KJA passionate about improving the way we do democracy, and believe that starts with enabling more meaningful engagement across the system.
Plott is a card-based exercise that seeks to develop a flexible and considered mindset - crucial to developing a ‘constructive view’ - in participants well before the deliberation has begun.
Plott will create an environment where it is okay for you to change your mind - an environment which promotes the flexible mindset necessary for reaching consensus.
